Atlas Insurance was founded in 1991 as a subsidairy company of White Dolphin Holding. Having started with one employee the company has been consistently growing in the course of years, resulting in a staff of 15, spread over Curacao and Aruba. In 2008 Atlas opened its sister-company in Aruba, providing similar services and facilities as the Curacao operation.

By rendering reliable and flexible services with a well-trained, educated and experienced staff, Atlas has earned a solid position within the top local brokers. Atlas Insurance can look back on a number of major achievements. These include:
•    Successful assistance to a large local hospital, resulting in professional medical liability 
     insurances
•    Development of a risk management program for a large airport ground operator
•    Development of a risk management program and livestock coverage for a large marine 
     entertainment company
•    Assistance of a large marine/ship repair yard in the implementation of a risk mitigation
     program and establishment of a comprehensive SRL program
•    The successful integration of a large non-profit organization into a tender pool, resulting in
     significant cost reductions and improvement of benefits.

Atlas is currently working on further expansion of its services and products in the Caribbean region, via correspondent agreements with international partners, including CGM and the A.J. Gallagher Group. Another major new initiative is the establishment of Pension Architects: a fully independent pension advisory division, providing pension advice and service on demand, on hourly fees as well as through maintenance contracts.
